Environmentalism

I'm taking my first environmental studies class ever now. I need to learn more about the basics. Can you help me?

What should I read? We learned about Pinchot and Muir last night, next is even more stuff. I want to learn!!!

  1. If you're in grad school and doing lovely, then my suggestions will come off like a joke!

    Aldo Leopold:

    rocks.

"A Sand County Almanac" was required reading in my freshman year. It's an easy (if somewhat slow) read, but very cool. I still think about it.

"...people who think food comes from the grocery store" is maybe my favorite quote. Lot of stewardship issues and stuff...cool if you have time.
